Myself in the future; personal vision.

Picture
Twenty years from now, I will be a successful 37 year old business women working in the fashion industry. The next twenty years will crucially affect my life; I plan to spend the majority of my time building a life for myself and maybe a family if I’ve got one yet. If all goes as planned I will be a happy, traveling, successful woman.

After my departure from ACLC I plan to spend the next two years at FIDM in Los Angeles, depending on how that goes I may think of transferring to Parsons in New York City. At FIDM I plan to major in merchandise product development or fashion design. I plan to get a job during my schooling that will help me meet important people in the industry and start my career.

Right now, all I really need to do is make sure all my graduation requirements are done and graduate from high school with all passing grades. This will give me a definite “in” at FIDM where I can start my life. I also need to fill out the FAFSA and apply for a Cal grant and any other scholarships that will give me money for school so I won’t have to take out any student loans.

Aside from school, I plan to travel all over Europe for fashion shows and parties, and come home to my boyfriend/husband. I would like to have a child to carry on my legacy, and probably before I’m 37 so I wont be on the edge of death when they’re graduating college, but until then I plan to spend all my hard earned cash on an awesome home in Orange County, a new Porsche Carrera 4s, and tons of awesome ridiculously overpriced designer clothes.

This is my dream life, I would say it is pretty attainable, the schooling and connections I get from fashion school will help me to achieve my dreams, but even if this life isn’t the one I get I’m sure I’ll get a good one. As an adult I hope to have an income large enough to support my lifestyle as well as my mother whom I love and has always encouraged my dreams. Fashion is one of the most important things in this country next to politics and I plan to make my mark on it in anyway possible.
